Draco walked slowly along the road of Diagon Alley He was not sure what it was he was looking for. Draco just wanted to be out and shopping. He would never admit it to anyone but he did in fact enjoy shopping. He had not headed out with any thought of a slave. He had a wife at home after all but he never saw her. \ He was alone the majority of the time with the children in school. And soon they would now even be around. They were reach adulthood. With this new law, they would be getting married soon. Draco was just turning away from Olivander's when he saw them. Really he could not miss them.
They were Black Market slaves just being brought in. Draco had heard about this but he had not seen them. He watched as they were lead down into Knock turn Alley. Draco wondered how the slave keeper could dare to lead them this way. But then again it was very early and the Alleys were almost empty. But his eyes were on one of the long line.
She was a fairly tall woman scantily dressed but attractive. Her curly blond hair hung in her face but her light blue eyes were intelligent and livid. He caught her eye but said nothing.
Draco watched them disappear into the alley and then turned back to the window display. He tried to concentrate on the new wand he wanted to buy but his mind kept moving back to the slaves. With a sigh, he turned and headed for Knockturn alley.

The day had come. Ashe followed her keeper through the alley, not bothering to run because she knew she would be caught. It was early in the morning but Ashe was used to waking up to get her work done. Being led trough a place she's never been before, she spotted the dark alley way her and the other slaves were being led down.
Hiding her panic, Ashe glanced around at the bright shopping center she was leaving. There were not many people walking around because of the time but the ones that were around seemed to ignore the fact that there was illegal activity happening. However, Ashe spotted one person that was staring straight at her. He was an attractive man with white blonde hair and the way he held himself conveyed a whole lot of confidence. Ashe felt panic flood her on the inside but didn't let it get to her. After all, this was one thing she was used to. Moving around was something that happened to Ashe all the time and Ashe didn't mind it that much anymore.
The group was led towards a small clearing next to grungy buildings and forced into a small formation. The man in charge gently pulled on Ashe's arm. He knew she wouldn't resist. Walking over to a raised platform, the man told her to stand still and look pretty. Her fear started to bubble up and she was feeling sick. Faking a smile, Ashe lowered her head towards the ground and readied herself to be auctioned off.

Draco walked to the forming crowd of witches and wizards. They grouped around a raised wooden platform and gazed up at the slaves. He automaticly searched for the blond. He did not know why that woman interested him so much. The auction of sorts began and Draco watched silently. The caller announced each slave by their status first off. Half blood, Muggle, Squib...Draco laughed. Who ever would want a squib? The Muggles were just as bad.
He watched as the witches went nearly mad for one male human. Tall built and dark features. He went for nearly 90 Galleons. Draco arched an eyebrow. Some of these women must have been saving for a long time. Draco watched as the man was nearly shoved down the steps to the grinning nearly drooling witch. Draco was sure of the duties that man would have. It was not long before the Blond was up for bid. Draco stood up straight now. "Muggle...Ashe Blaie." Draco thought that that was an interesting name. "Mid thirties...healthy...strong...good hips for breeding..." The bidding started there.
Draco listened as around him men began to bid. Draco waited until the bidding was getting higher and then began to top bids. "35 Galleons." One man called. "Forty." Draco relied and so it continued until Draco had bid 105 Galleons. The crowd was silent as they watched the two remaining men against Draco. One by one they shook their heads. Draco sneered. He watched as the blond was instructed on what to do next. And the guard approached Draco for the money.

This was the most petrifying day of Ashe's life. She was always able to block this out of her mind in the past. She never believed this day would actually come. Now here she was, standing in front of an audience as the man auctioned her off to the highest bidder. Ashe kept her eyes on the ground as the amount grew higher and higher. Why would anyone want to pay so much money for her? She wasn't that special.
Clenching her hands into fists, Ashe tried to reign in her emotions. The feeling of her nails digging into her palms calmed her a bit and she took a deep breath. As Ashe released the air, she didn't hear any noise at all. She looked up as the auctioneer called her bidding to a close. Her eyes went completely wide. She wasn't paying attention. Who bought her? Tears stung her eyes as her panic grew almost uncontrollable. She should have been watching the bidding.
She mentally kicked herself and wiped her tears away before they could fall. The man who sold her told her to follow the guard and bow to her new master. Ashe's gazed scanned the crowd to figure out who had purchased her. Following the gaurd, her gaze landed on the man she saw before the auction. Not knowing why, her shoulders sagged in relief.
He had bought Ashe. He saved her from getting sold to the other scary looking men that looked angry they didn't win. Thinking this over, Ashe panicked again. How did she know that he would treat her right? What if he was a cruel master? As the gaurd reached out to collect her new master's money, Ashe lowered her eyes to the floor like she had been taught and sank into a bow to respect the man who had bought her.

(occ-Does she know about magic and wizards and witches? Just asking cause she is taking everything so well. The Terms of Muggle and Galleon and stuff.)
Draco stood where he was and waited for the guard and the blond. He watched the woman look up at him. Was that relief he saw? That struck him as humorous. He was a legendary Muggle Hated. His father had killed dozens of her kind. That ha of course been Lucius and not Draco himself. Draco had never actually killed anyone. He had come close. Many times. Dumbledore and then in the war. But Draco had always seemed to have that cowardly side of him. It shamed him.
Draco took out the dragon hide pouch from his cloak pocket and remove the coins. Really quite a few to pay for a Muggle but he could not back down now. Draco handed over the coins and put the much lighter pouch away. He watched as Ashe bowed before him with her eyes at the ground. He let his eyes take her in. The full head of golden ringlets. The pale creamy skin. The trim petite body. She was lovely. But all the same, he had just bought a slave. His wife would be furious. Not that she had very much say in what he did.
"Stand up Muggle." Draco said to the Blond. His voice was commanding but not unkind. Draco nodded to the guard and then gently took the blonds thin upper am in his large hand and began to lead her out of the alley. He was going to need to head back to the bank. He began to mount the steps leading to Diagon Alley.[data]WORD COUNT 284

Ashe stood up tall when her new master gave her the command. Clasping her hands together in front of her, Ashe got ready to face the ridicule of being a new slave in front of the audience but her master just grabbed her arm and led her away. Placing her free hand on top of her master’s arm, she followed him unquestioningly. She felt the stares of the losing bidders on her back and retreated closer to the man leading her, still not knowing who he was.
Ashe had always grown up around magic, but she had never been to this place before and it excited her even in the situation she was in. Eyes wide, Ashe continued to stare at everything. She wasn’t sure if she was supposed to act a certain way but she just couldn’t help her curiousity. There were witches and wizards everywhere. Not to mention the slaves that followed them around. Ashe was able to pick them out easily.
Staying one step behind her master, Ashe still kept close to him. Her heart was still racing from the auction and she felt exhausted. The adrenaline rush that kicked in earlier was wearing off and she was running on fumes. The auctioneer hadn’t let them sleep their normal amount of hours and they have been traveling for days. Ashe dutifully kept walking with her master, though. She stayed quiet, in fear of speaking when she wasn’t supposed to.

Draco thought that she was taking this very well. She had not put up any fight which was something that he expected. She was silent and kept to his side. He felt her press against him as they were leaving and Draco looked down at her out of the corner of his eye. He watched as she looked at the people and the stores. Draco said nothing at her curiosity. Let her look. He was not the type of master to treat his slave like his mistress but he would not deny her just for the sake of denying.
Draco watched her for a moment longer. Finally he said. "So Ashe, I am Draco Malfoy." His voice was crisp and his accent clean and clear. "I did not come here expecting to buy a slave. However here you are. I will have to find duties for you. I do not consider myself to be an overly cruel man. I do not however tolerate rudeness or disrespect. And I will not hesitate to punish."
They had reached the top of the stairs leading to Diagon Alley. Draco turned towards Gringotts. It was an imposing snow-white marble building: that Towered over the other shops. He now needed more money. He led her up the stone steps and pause between the Goblins standing on either side of the doors. At once they moved to open the doors for them. Draco led Ashe to a counter and before long they were climbing into a cart on a long track to head to the Malfoy Vault.

Ashe bowed her head as Draco introduced himself. She has heard about him before. Though none of it was very good, she can't say that she's heard anything completely horrible or repulsing about him. "It is my honor to belong to you, Master Malfoy," Ashe said in a kind voice. There was no reason for her to fret right now. He didn't seem like the violent type.
Never have been to Gringotts before, Ashe was amazed at the goblins and vault area. Draco climbed into the cart and Ashe went to climb in also, but wasn't sure where she should sit. The cart was so small. Not wanting to offend him, Ashe climbed in behind him and off they went. The cart ride was frightening. Closing her eyes and took a deep breath. Her hands started shaking but she didn't let herself grab onto her master or scream.
The cart slowed and Ashe released the breath that she was holding. Staying where she was, Ashe was nervous that if she moved, she would lose the contents of her stomach. To her, that would be a very embarrassing thing to happen on her first day under control of Master Malfoy.

Draco watched as Ashe climbed into the cart. for a moment he thought thats she was going to sit beside him. she seemed to think better of it however and moved to the seat behind him instead. The Goblin took the seat beside Draco and then they were off. Draco was used to this ride on yet he still held onto the side of the cart. He could only imagine what she was feeling. Draco assumed that this was her first ride and he figured that she would be nervous. Most people were he first time they rode the track. He heard nothing from her however.
When the cart came to a halt before the Malfoy vault, Draco followed the Goblin out and then stood on the ledge. He turned back to Ashe. She looked a little green in the face but other than that, she seemed o have taken it well. "Well," He said to her. He offered a hand to help her up and out. "Lets go." The Goblin ran a long black finger nail along the door and the door dissolved displaying large piles of Gold, Silver, and Bronze coins. There were also piles of jewels and shelves of family heirlooms.
