PERSONALITY: Michelle is a naturally talented and a bubbly, vivacious person. Though she is a fun and enjoyable person to be around, she can get extremely jealous of others; especially if they are better than her in a subject that she excels in. She is one of the top students in her grade, but is extremely critical of herself, and nothing she ever does can quite fit to her own standard of perfection.
Michelle is loyal, and tries to help her friends out, though often her helping them messes up their lives a bit. She also loves to play match-maker, so if you’re in need of a good (or bad) set-up, come to her! She is a bit picky about her friends, and is rather judgmental, but once you get on her good side, it's hard to change that.
Michelle has been spoiled all her life, so she wants what she wants, when she wants it; nothing less, and nothing more. Sometimes this leads her into trouble, and she can become whiney and needy.
FAMILY: Michelle Waldgrave grew up in the town of Hertfordshire, England. Her father, Richard, was a native born Englishman who was to inherit the title of Lord Waldgrave from his father, the current Lord. The prosperous family of the Waldgraves had been residing in England for generations, and owned quite a bit of property, leaving the entire family very well off. In his travels as a young man, he met a beautiful, young French woman named Adele. Adele was a young journalist, with a large and very close family. Within months of meeting one another, Richard and Adele were married. They quickly moved back to Richard’s house in Hertfordshire so he could resume business. A few years later, they had a baby girl who they named Michelle. Sadly, when Michelle was only two years old, her mother Adele passed away. For years the only female figure in Michelle’s life was her loving maid, Henrietta. Her father, Richard, a well-known lawyer, was always away on business, so Henrietta became Michelle’s closest friend. But, there was one very large secret Adele kept from Richard that he never discovered... that is until the day of Michelle's 11th birthday….
HISTORY: It was a day of celebration at the Waldgrave household. Michelle Elizabeth Waldgrave was turning 11. Before Adele Waldgrave had passed away, she forgot to tell her husband one crucial detail about herself and her family: they were witches and wizards. She knew her daughter had inherited this trait; she could tell from little things she did unconsciously around the house, like making stuffed animals float, or even talk. Mr. Waldgrave, on the other hand, never saw these things, as he was always away on business. It was Henrietta who noticed these strange peculiarities of Little Miss Michelle.
An owl swooped down to Waldgrave’s estate. A very important letter was being delivered to a Miss Michelle Elizabeth Waldgrave, asking her to attend the prestigious Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Mr. Waldgrave handled the news fairly well. He was more stunned than angry. It took a bit of convincing from Adele's family in France, he at first thought it was some sort of practical joke, but after a few months, he came round to the idea that his daughter possessed unusual and extraordinary powers. In fact, he quite liked the idea. Michelle was taken out of her Muggle primary school and sent off to a new future as a young witch.
ANYTHING ELSE?: Some call her Belle
//TIME TO SHOW OFF//
SAMPLE POST: "No," Erin smiled slightly, picturing herself in a club. She would not even know what to do! Should she dance? She was a good dancer, it was not that, but would she even dare to? It didn't quite seem...her. She definitely could not picture herself going up to some bartender and ordering herself a drink in a club either. She usually only went to high society bars with her father, or rarely, her friends. "Not even once."
And he was modest too. How much more perfect could he get? "There isn't any..." she said, thinking of all the people she had lost over the years. "I'm sorry," she apologized, "I don't mean to have been overly defensive for you, of course, you're right." She agreed completely with his decision of not basking in the glory of war as some did. "I just...I have some regrets about that I suppose." She smiled a bit, trying to cheer up the mood.
"That would be lovely!" she replied, envisioning Carter having one of those classic, stereotypical, 1950's American households: the father coming home in a gorgeously tailored suit to a loving wife in a form fitting dress that puffed out at the waist, with two insanely adorable kids who seemed to be sculpted out of marble, and the entire family sitting down at the same time to a perfect, hot, thanksgiving-worthy meal for fifty at the kitchen table. She smiled, not quite letting herself picture herself as the smiling wife. What was she thinking? She had only known him for a matter of minutes, but she still felt that haunting feeling of butterflies in her stomach. Erin never felt that. No guy was ever perfect enough for her, but maybe it was his imperfections that attracted her?
Erin laughed a small laugh again. She still could not picture him as a wilder-type, no matter what he had said, but then again, she had only known him for a very short time; but it was her nature to assume things. "You don't seem too wild, but as you said, I haven't seen you in your 'element' yet, so I'll just have to wait and see." She smiled at him, slightly implying that she hoped to see him again in the future.
She could not help but keep her mind from wondering whether he had a girlfriend. She casually looked back at the coffee counter, wondering again if he and that waitress had some sort of thing...she had noticed them earlier, and she had blushed when he talked to her, right? A sudden feeling of jealously washed over her, but she quickly tried to quiet the feeling. She could not run away with the idea before she knew anything. But then again, she noticed the waitress was staring straight at them...was she, the waitress, jealous? Erin was sufficiently confused, not realizing that she, herself, was probably the jealous one. But, she could not quite think of the proper phrasing to ask him if he had a girlfriend. She did not want to seem to obviously into him, it was just her nature.
