PHYSICAL APPEARANCE:
Emerald is small in stature, despite the fact that her parents are fairly tall. She doesn't take kindly to being looked down upon just because she's short, and has an overpowering personality because of that. Her skin is pale but still healthy looking. She has light blonde hair, murky blue eyes and a heart shaped face that led her to being described as like a doll when she was a child, something that she also didn't like. Em wears only minimal makeup for school, although more if she's going out somewhere, and dresses to show off the amount of money her family have. She speaks fairly loudly, without hesitation, and it often sounds playful but very girly.

PERSONALITY:
Emerald is an incredibly confident, cunning and witty person. She is extremely loyal towards her best friends and family, and would normally do anything for them. However, she often thinks of herself a lot and won't help out anybody if she isn't close to them or there isn't anything in it for her. Although she has a mean streak, she prefers not to fight with anyone, but if she does its with words, not her fists due to her small figure. One of the main reasons why she was placed in Slytherin, along with her family's history, is that she is very cunning. She knows how to get what she wants, and often does. She will do anything when her mind is set on it, and hardly ever backs down from a challenge. Em is quirky and has a short attention span, leading to her often doing random things.
FAMILY:
Emerald is the second child and only daughter of Draco and Astoria Malfoy. She comes from a long line of purebloods who have old traditions and believe that Purebloods are better than everyone else, and to a certain extent she believes in them too. Her father and grandfather Lucius were Death Eaters in the days when Voldemort was alive. Em is extremely close to her brother Scorpius who is only a year older than her and is also in Slytherin.
The Malfoys are extremely rich in old money and aren't afraid to show it off. Despite this, her father works and is currently the Potions Professor at Hogwarts. Her mother at the moment is a housewife.
HISTORY:
Emerald was born on a very sunny summer's day sixteen years ago and completed the Malfoy family. Growing up, she always had whatever she wanted due to the amount of money her parents possessed, and wasn't short of attention either. For some, that environment might've caused them to become brats in later life, but Em has always had a level head and knows that her family worked hard for generations to get what she has now. She first showed signs of magic at the age of five, when halfway through a tantrum she set one of the chairs in the Dining Room alight.
Her Hogwarts letter arrived as expected on her eleventh birthday, and soon enough she was being carted off to Hogwarts. It was there that she followed in the rest of her family's footsteps by being sorted into Slytherin. Throughout her school years she hasn't been a very good student, often lacking in attention-span and talking too much, but she tries her hardest when it comes to tests and exams so that her parents are proud of her.

SAMPLE POST:
venturing out into london was something that ginny had taken to recently. the purebloods no longer went anywhere near the muggle parts of it, making it safe for her to explore that part of the capital of england. she hated having to hide from most of the wizarding society simply because she had no problem with muggles or muggleborns, but would not change for all the money in the world. it was the way she had been brought up and she had too much respect for muggles and muggleborns alike to suddenly drop everything and turn into one of them. the people who deemed it right to treat anyone not of pure blood like scum.
the former gryffindor left her dingy, first floor, small flat in the middle of muggle london and stepped onto the pavement below. immediately she was met with a rush of muggles, hurrying on their way to work. merlin, she hadn't realised it was the morning rush hour, everyone hurrying to get to work. ginny swore that the clock in her living room had said quarter to twelve when she had left, only minutes before. frowning, she walked down the street until she met the main street, red hair flowing behind her. from this even busier street, she could see a nearby church steeple, and the clock face that was on it. it read ten to nine. no wonder the streets were packed; it was three hours earlier than gin had thought.
she really needed to adjust that clock when she got back home later. for now, however, she took a lazy stroll through the streets, not caring where she was going. there was no rush for her to get back - what did she have to get back for? a husband or boyfriend's arrival back from a hectic day at work? huh, she wished. harry potter was a figure that still lingered in her mind, despite it being many years since he died, and she could not let him go. he was her first ( and to this date ) only love: flings and one night stands were becoming a common occurrence in ginny's life, but she didn't actually feel anything for those men. she just needed the company and the knowledge men were still attracted to her and her looks had not faded over the years. ginny was not vain, but rather needed to know she still had the good looks that she had been known for back at hogwarts.
gin had arrived at a street in london she had yet to explore. it was darker, quieter and had an eerie atmosphere that was shouting to her to turn back around and run. however, like normal she liked a bit of adventure and adrenaline pumping through her system, and this street looked like it could just that. walking forward, but more cautiously than before, she peered into the shop windows. the first one was obviously a clothes store: mannequins dominated the window space, dressed in what could only be described as expensive wizards robes. oh merlin, she had somehow wandered into a wizarding street. in her head, she was swearing violently, many of the words she had learnt from fred and george. however, she wasn't about to chicken out of having a look down this street.
it would be good, just for a while, to be reconnected to the wizarding world even if it wasn't what it used to be. it might bring back happy memories of visiting diagon alley as a child, or else as a hogwarts student. ginny looked into the second shop - cauldrons and potions ingredients. potions had never been her strongest subject at school, probably due to her hatred for professor snape, but some of those ingredients in there looked pretty dangerous. the shop looked empty, but she couldn't be sure: the cauldron in the shop window was emitting a thick, constant stream of smoke, a colour green that suggested to ginny it was poisonous. lovely.
